I don’t know about you, but I’ve had mixed, evolving thoughts on short-form blogging avenues, such as Instagram. Admittedly, I’ve become pretty obsessive about taking photos and playing with settings since it debuted on Android a couple of months back. It’s addicting! And pretty!
On one hand, I think it’s cheap and lacking content. On the other, I think it can be brief and captivating, yet, I worry it’s too limiting and pushing actual thoughts to the side. Does it make Tumblr appear composed? Is there insight? Am I, once again, giving too many peeks into my life?
On the upside, I can choose to send my photos into the tweeting wasteland of one-liners (you can choose more social media outlets, but this is where I feel the most comfortable, wandering like so), and not feel like I’m clogging up the internet with overshare. I realize that I really enjoy the casual side of it, since I largely despise sharing photos or information on my personal Facebook account. What sense am I making here? We all draw our own lines.
Over all, it’s taking-over-the-internet-trendy, and if I’m co-running a bloggers conference, aren’t I supposed to keep up?
Anyway.
Here’s a glimpse of what I’ve been up to, over there:

I don’t have a cell phone that I can take pictures with, so I can’t do Instagram. I don’t think I would anyway. I already have so many other social medias that I am a part of. I wish they would just streamline them all! Or maybe I can get some volunteers to take care of them for me
Happiness!

When I first got instagram I stopped taking pictures for my blog because I totally got sucked in! Now I’m finding balance again. I love looking through my instagram feed for inspiration, ideas, and laughs. But it can’t replace my true love: the blog.
Please please tell me where you snapped the “Sagan Loves You” photo!
I wanna say SE 16 & Hawthorne near a bus stop…
